Supply and installation of water connection for JA solar

• Tender Brief: Majis is supplying process and potable water to tenants in Sohar Free Zone (SFZ). A new costumer named JA Solar has requirement for process water has demand for process and portable water. To cater for the demand, Majis has to extend the current network to cover the area allocated to the costumer.
• Scope of Work: The brief scope of works is as follows A. In SFZ Phase 2, Excavation, bedding, Supply, laying, installation, testing and commissioning of HDPE OD 560 PN 16 process water pipes for approximately 2.6 Kms including all bends, fittings, Tees and thrust blocks, warning tapes and marker poles & plates every 50m. B. In SFZ Phase 2, Excavation, bedding, Supply, laying, installation, testing and commissioning of HDPE OD 160 PN 16 potable water pipes for approximately 1.4 Kms including all bends, fittings, Tees and thrust blocks, warning tapes and marker poles & plates every 50m. C. Supply and construction of various chambers such as Isolation valve chambers, Washout valve chambers, air valve chambers, flowmeter chambers, etc. D. Carrying out connections to customers including pipes, fittings, electromagnetic flowmeters and chambers at battery limits. E. Connecting the new assets to Majis’ control room at plot 21 and its central control room F. Testing and commissioning the newly constructed works according to the tender requirements and the manufacturers’ requirements G. Execute wadi crossings by providing necessary concrete encasement, stone pitching for the pipes and cables. H. Executing Non-Destructive Road Crossings (NDRC), Wadi Crossings, as necessary to complete the works. Please refer to document, Volume 1: Instructions to Tenderers
• Payment Terms: 10% advance 10% when providing unpriced PO for material 15% after excavation completed 20% after all material arrival 10% after construction completed 20% after successful hydro test 15% after project completed and handed over to client. Payments will be after 30 days after invoicing
