Demolition of Old Office in Majis Seawater Intake

• Tender Brief: The base scope of this project is to completely demolish the old offices which is located at Majis Seawater Intake plant, the building is contains offices, conference rooms, pantries. Project will consist of complete facility demolition, including the total removal of all foundations, removal and disposal of all utilities and construction waste from our site to approved designated landfilled, site amenities, and associated site features. Also, demolition will include the termination of all site utilities (water, power, telecommunications etc.). Site restoration activities will include back filling, grading and seeding the disturbed sites.
• Scope of Work: Scope of work • The contractor shall furnish all supervision, technical personnel, labour, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and services. Including utility and transportation services and perform and complete all work required for the demolition and removal of all structures as required under this scope. • demolition and removal of the existing old building in Majis seawater intake plant, including structural elements, including concrete and steel components, including foundations, basements, and pits. • This shall also include the clearance of all objects of every nature above ground level and the removal / disposal of all construction waste and materials comes-out from the building. • Contractor has to provide the demolition methodology • Safely remove and dispose of all waste materials from the site in compliance with local environmental regulations, ensuring disposal is carried out at authorized landfill facilities. • Carefully dismantle existing systems such as fire detection devices and air conditioners and transfer them to Majis/OSWS. • Relocate valuable scrap materials to the designated scrap yard managed by Majis. • Seal and reinstate the areas where underground (septic) tanks were located
• Payment Terms: • 10% advance payment against advance payment guarantee. The recovery of advance will be 10% of the interim certificate value up to the amount of advance. • 30% after achieving of 60% of the work • 60% after work completion. • Payments shall be after 30 days upon the receipt of original tax invoice including 10 days for review
